Stories have always been a way for me to explore new and exciting things.

My debut novel, WHEN SHADOWS SPEAK, was inspired in part by my mother’s final months in a residential care home. Watching families navigate love, loss, and uncertainty led me to imagine a different possibility: What if there were unseen worlds existing alongside our own, and what if death was not an ending but the beginning of something extraordinary?

I write adult gothic speculative fiction that blends atmospheric settings with emotional storytelling.

When I am not writing, I work in healthcare, where my career focuses on quality improvement and patient safety after many years as a critical care nurse. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for resilience, compassion, and the quiet strength found in everyday people.

I live in Arizona with my husband and our dog, Dutch, and I am currently at work on future novels.
